Continued temporary service suspension of the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Wuhan and its Liaison Units

In view of the latest epidemic situation and on recommendation of the local government, the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office in Wuhan (WHETO) of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region will continue to suspend its services temporarily until 13 February 2020 (Thursday) and its Henan and Hunan Liaison Unit until 9 February 2020 (Sunday) to tie in with the control on community spread of “Severe Respiratory Disease associated with a Novel Infectious Agent”. For assistance during this period, Hong Kong people in Hubei, Hunan, Henan, Jiangxi and Shanxi may contact the Assistance to Hong Kong Residents 24-Hour Hotline (852) 1868 or the Immigration Services Division of the WHETO (Designated Hotline (86) 158 0277 5135).

The Centre for Health Protection (CHP) of the Department of Health has set up a designated webpage (https://www.chp.gov.hk/en/features/102465.html) providing related information and health advice about “Severe Respiratory Disease associated with a Novel Infectious Agent”. The CHP has also set up a Hotline (852) 2125 1122 operating daily from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm. Hong Kong people in Hubei who are in need may call this Hotline for health or medical advice. Besides, Hong Kong people in Hubei may consider seeking health or medical advice from online medical consultation services.
